OMG no one commented on this episode!!! I am shocked! So many ladies and so many of them Sawyer lovers but no comments on this episode!
![]() So what do you think? I liked it. I liked the flashbacks so much. I'm not very big fan of Sawyer but he was very good in this one! Ladies? 7/10

A great episode indeed. The flashback was very interesting, and the on island action also great. Poor Charlie wanting revenge on everyone and poor Locke, who you had to feel sorry for when Sawyer was winding him up in the Swan Station in regard to people coming to get the guns.

Well, there isn't that much to discuss about the episode because it had little to do with overall story, and there weren't any mysteries involved.
There's just one thing I am still wondering about: do you think Sawyer was entirely truthful when he said that he had never been in love (during the 'I Never' game with Kate in "Outlaws")? Did Sawyer really fall for Cassidy, as his partner suggested? My impression was that he did, but then convinced himself that that's not who he was (because "tiger never changes his stripes") and decided to go through with the con and remain a conman. It is in character, he also pretended he didn't care about his daughter when Cassidy visited him in prison in "Every Man For Himself", but then later we see that he actually did.

I liked this episode a lot and have never found any of the Sawyer flashbacks boring. Which by the way does not have anything to do with my love for Sawyer. He is just an interesting character in general.
![]() I believe he did lie to Kate during their game of "I Never". As much as I love Sawyer I am afraid Kate was right when she told him that she thinks he wants everyone to hate him. He couldnt even admit to Kate that he had been in love. Always has to be the tough guy that man of mine.

Jack and Lockes little face off was good to see and i think if Sawyer had never interuptted there would have been a good old punch up.
![]() Erm Kate thinking Ana Lucia was "Evil" when she gave her that slow motion look. Ohh also when he was in the hatch and said he was going to get the high score in Donkey Kong So funny. As for the Flashback Interesting and also seeing Kate's mom in it as well which had me busy trying to figure out exactly when this was as she had cancer last time we saw her. Still haven't done it but Anyway. Didn't really like that Cassidy woman though she was a little werid unfourtunatley i'm sure we will see her again soon if Kate's promise was to do with his little Baby.

After re-watching, I think Sawyer conning Locke was the moment where Locke lost his confidence in season 2 and subsequently allowed Jack to walk over him more and more because he wasn't confident in his beliefs and in himself once he had been conned.

That's actually quite a good point. If there was ever a defining moment where Locke's confidence started to crumble, it was likely here, unfortunately softening him up for Ben's manipulation.
