I hope she took her time searching for her bags and delayed the flight even more!

If they were worried about her being stranded why weren't they worried she was flying alone in teh first place?

That's airlines for you.

They also oversell flights, i.e. sell more tickets than there are seats, on the assumption some people don't turn up, to make sure they've got a full flight. Of course they're stuck when everybody does turn up as they've then got to turn people away from the flight they've paid for and made plans/booked hotels around. Don't understand why they do it as if the plane is a few seats empty there'd be less weight so they could carry less fuel, so it'd be cheaper.

If I had been the stewards, I'd have made the 14 year old wait for the next flight - incase someone didn't turn up for it and then give them the extra seat.

How long untill we start weighing people at the airport though???

They need to balance the plane weight out so I wouldn't be surprised if they started weighing people.

I meant in terms of bagage allowence MEP.

I mean, should someone who weighs 20 stone have the same baggage allowence as me?? Or me the same as an 8 year old child???

I am aware that weight issues aren't always the same persons fault, and some 'over weight' people are acually really muscly. But still.
