Who Is The Character Of The Week?
Hello Everyone! The final season of Lost has officially begun which means it is once again time to pick our favorite character from each weeks episode. Each week we will vote on our favorite character from that weeks episode. At the end of the season, the characters with the most wins will vie for the position of Character Of The Season! Now obviously, I cannot pick all of the characters, but I will do my best to choose the few whom I felt brought the most to each episode. I will always provide an "others" option in case there is a character I have not listed that you would like to vote for. Here are the nominees for Character Of The Week for Season Six, Episode One, "LA X"  1. The MIB/Esau/Flocke/Lockeness Monster - Call him whatever you like, but we learned plenty about the new John Locke in this episode, like the fact that he has a nasty temper.  2. Richard Alpert - The never aging, always mysterious man of the guyliner. It would seem Richard did come in on the Black Rock and was most likely one of the slaves on board.  3. Jack Shepard - Who seemed to be a little more easy going this time around and even smiled occassionally. He also apparantly is no longer obsessed with fixing things.  4. Hurley Reyes - Who is now the happiest and luckiest man in the world and is also the owner of Mr. Clucks Chicken. He is also the only Lostie to have spoken directly to Jacob with knowledge of it.  5. Benjamin Linus - Who spent most of the episode in bewilderment. Ben no longer understands what is happening and was in shock to see Flocke turn into the Smoke Monster. What will become of Ben now?  6. James "Sawyer" Ford - James lost Juliet once and for all and now blames Jack for her death. He has been through a lot on the island and would seem to still be a con man off island. Or is he? 7. Other - Did I forget to list someone you felt should be a nominee? Wow! Really hard to choose. It was like an everyman episode where everyone had their part to play to turn it into an outstanding episode - which it was. Too close to call for me.

For me it's the Flockeness Monster - loving this new badass dude!
Still shrouded in mystery - but to know he has always been there from the pilot as the monster is pretty cool. Of everyone, at the moment I want to find out more about him! More so than Jacob - this guy seems even more interesting than Jacob IMO!

Genius name did you come up with it kates ?? I think i will go for Flockeness Monster because as Gaz said he is really interesting and I think it's great to see this side of Terry O Quinn.

Has to be Flockey for me - everything we found out it this episode just made him more mysterious and brought on more questions, but still brilliant to watch. To find out he was really Smokey actually made my jaw drop, I can't wait to find out more about him now.

I love Alpert. But he didn't really do much this week apart from get smacked about a bit. (Well a lot actually.)
For that reason, I'll go for Ben; everything he ever knew has just been blasted to pieces and he still seems to have some kind of coherent thought going on.

I voted for Jack for saving charlie on the plane, and for trying to save sayid. Also his chat with Rose, had me feeling all nostalgic lol
Also I love desmond, but he was only in it briefly, so I won't vote him.

For me it has to be Flocke McSmokeyson. Can't remember the exact scene but there was one moment where his expression totally changed and it just gave me chills. Well done to Terry O Quinn for doing some awesome things in the last episode.

It has to be Esau for me - I am a big fan of him as Locke and his scenes were some of the most interesting in 6x01/02, if not the most.
