I admit to not seeing the episode more then once but did they refer to the kid as a boy??
If not and they referred to him as Charlie then this could be Charlotte

The doctor says "its a boy" at the beggining iirc.
But at least you beleive it could be one of them! which means its our charlie and hes alive!
