His "hello Jack, are you there?" broke many hearts, I'm sure.
I feel empathy for him indeed. But more than that, I feel great
respect for the guy. Helping out the Losties even in the face of their ingratitude.
As the light acended over his face on 316, it took me back to the light he walked through as he turned the wheel.

I think that Ben saved Penny..there's gotta be a twist somewhere
..either that or Desmond tried to beat/drown him.
